Frequently Asked Questions

General & Preventive FAQs

How often should I visit the dentist?
Most people benefit from a checkup and cleaning every six months. Depending on your oral health, we may recommend more frequent visits.
We remove plaque and tartar buildup, polish your teeth, and check for any early signs of decay or gum disease - typically finished in about an hour.
Sealants are most common for kids and teens, but adults without decay or existing fillings in their molars can benefit too.
Modern digital X-rays use very low radiation levels and include a protective apron. Always let us know if you're pregnant so we can take extra precautions.
